Service Description

The 2021 Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction or opioid overdose. When a patient experiences a life-threatening emergency, healthcare providers need to act swiftly and promptly. The course emphasizes providing high-quality care and integrating psychomotor skills with critical thinking and problem solving to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. This blended learning course includes: 1) An online portion & 2) An instructor-led classroom skills session The online portion MUST be completed before attending the in-class portion. Most learners complete the online portion in approximately 2.5 hrs. However, your experience may vary widely based on several factors including your PC, internet speed and previous training. I recommend beginning the online session as soon as possible to ensure you have completed it prior to the in-person skill session. The online portion must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection. More than 72 hours' notice: We will issue a refund minus a $3. service fee OR you can reschedule with no penalty. Less than 72 hours’ notice: We will issue a 50% refund OR you can reschedule for a $20 fee. Day of class: Reschedule for 50%. BUT cancellations or no shows will not receive any refund. We encourage you to become a member.
